On August 12th through to 18th 2013, Stanford le Hope Cricket Club are hosting in conjunction with "Cricket for All" and supported by Essex CCC and The Stanford Recreation Ground User Group, a week of cricket coaching for twenty Thurrock Lifestyle Solutions customers.

The aim of the cricket week is to give opportunities for disabled people in Thurrock the chance to experience qualified coaching and participation in organised sport. Also to encourage team work, develop and improve skills including Table Cricket, get fit and most of all, have fun.

There are four qualified cricket coaches with a support team plus TLS staff support.

On the last day at 1pm (18th Aug) there will be "The Parade of Cricket", where the 20 participants will show off their new skills in front of their invited guests. This will be followed by a traditional "Cricket Tea" for all!

For anyone interested in accessible cricket in Thurrock, please contact jharris@choiceandcontrol.co.uk.

Meanwhile... here's some suitable music from 10cc and a Zombie cricket game that can be played with just the left-mouse click.
